ある先生が、街が魅力的なのは建築のお陰ではなく 人々の生活が魅力的だからだと言っていたのを昔旅したアジアの路地の写真を見ていて思い出した。
建築家が思い上がるなと言いたかったのだろう。
One of my teachers told me that a city is attractive not because of architecture but people's life. The pictures of alley I took in Asian countries reminds me of his speech.
I suppose that he wanted to tell architects not to be conceited.
