Okayama, Japan

Korakuen, 後楽園
If you take a Shinkansen from Osaka or Kobe to Hakata, Fukuoka, you will notice that after Himeji the view changes a lot, in those areas (Banshu, Chugoku), there still remains village-culture between mountains with traditional houses where you will see products and architecture relative to Japanese nature.
I got off the train at Okayama and went to Korakuen.

Ryuten, 流店
Enyotei, 延養亭
Noh-stage Ensho-no-ma, 能舞台・栄唱の間
Korakuen Flagstones, 後楽園敷石

A tea cup I bought made by Yoshiteru Takariki, 高力芳照

I bought a tea cup - this shape of tea cup is actually used for rice in Japan even though named tea cup, but the owner told me that it can be used for an informal tea ceremony - at the Bizen-yaki "備前焼き" shop, Hirai close to Korakuen.
This cup has a beautiful gradation and changes appearance from every angle which is quite dynamic.
